Goddess Rhea - Queen of the Titans, gave birth to the first generation of Olympian gods - Hestia, Hades, Poseidon, Hera and Zeus. Kronos, her paranoid husband, was gobbling up each of their newborns, in fear they would dethrone him. To stop this insanity, Queen Rhea outwitted her husband and disguised a rock as an infant. Upon swallowing, Kronos vomited all the children back into the kingdom. She is often called the Mother of Gods.
